Thanks for visiting my YouTube channel! I'm not the best piano player out there by any means... but I do enjoy the gift that God has given me and I'm very thankful for it. I used to play by note but only play by ears these days. I do play for my church and our music is what I call "Church of God music". We don't use sheet music or written note. Our church musicians play by ear and that can be challenging at times when playing for someone. Maybe you have someone that has written a new song and you've never heard it before. They may start out singing in E flat and you have to be able to pick it up and follow along. Or maybe someone starts off singing and you have to find the key they're singing in and follow along. I wanted to share these videos with family and friends but also for people that are looking for a different way to play gospel music.
