Since debuting in 2006, The Wombats unique blend of synth-pop, post-punk and often dark lyrical themes has attracted a devoted following. Their first two albums A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation (2007) and This Modern Glitch (2011) featured a succession of hit singles including Moving To New York, Lets Dance To Joy Division, Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) and Jump Into The Fog.The release of 2015s Glitterbug album proved to be a triumphant return as it hit the charts at #5 in the UK and #2 in Australia. The bands first UK tour in support of the album was entirely sold-out, and will be followed by with an additional run of dates this autumn which includes their biggest ever London show at Alexandra Palace.By the close of the year, The Wombats will have played the Reading, Leeds and T in the Park as well as international festivals and headline shows in a further 23 countries.
