Set up in 2009, the Migrant Workers' Center (MWC) is a bipartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers' Federation (SNEF).The MWC is a non-government organisation whose mission is to champion fair employment practices and the well-being of migrant workers in Singapore. The MWC does this by pursuing 4 main thrusts, namely: - Promoting equitable employment practices and as well as awareness of migrant workers' employment related rights- Providing interim humanitarian assistance and aid for distresses migrant workers- Promoting social integration through the provision of social support networks and structures- Advocating for fair resolution and assertion of migrant workers' right
