Levinsky College of Education (LCE) was the first to use Hebrew as the language of instruction for teacher training and the first to receive academic accreditation for all of its teacher education programs. LCE was also one of the first colleges in Israel to receive accreditation for its masters degree program and was recently one of the first to receive academic accreditation for two of its M.Ed. programs with thesis Teaching and Learning, and Music Education. The college maintains cooperative relationships with schools and preschools across the country, and its graduates are sought after by school principals.LCE has trained some 42,000 teachers and educators over the years, many of whom have left their mark on the educational system. The college helps novice teachers acquire professional approaches and promotes Jewish, democratic and universal values.
