Within a couple of years was composing at the piano, pencilling the notes onto manuscript paper. She trained as a translator in French and German and it was only when she had children and stayed at home that she started to compose themes and songs Until that time she composed instinctively but she wanted to understand more, so she applied to Middlesex University to study composition, conducting and musical analysis on a Performance Arts course.
