Sitting on the last train to Aguas Calientes, the tourist gateway to Macchu Picchu. Two older middle-aged caucasian women sat in the seats opposite my wife and I. As the train began to build up momentum for its 2 hour journey towards the small town, the four of us politely exchanged pleasantries. In doing so we had learnt that we had come from different parts of the World, us, from Melbourne Australila and them, from Jo'Burg South Africa. The hours flew by as we struck up a wonderful conversation about race, culture, religion. Once the train stopped, we said our goodbyes and made our pilgrimage up the mountains to Macchu PichuEven though I had witnessed one of the great marvels of the World. It occured to me that I had learnt more about South Africa from our 2 hour conversation than I had learnt about Peru by visting one of the great wonders of the World. The mission of this channel is recreate these moments with real people from around the World, one conversation at a time
