Hey I'm Alan Gogoll, a solo acoustic guitarist from Tasmania, Australia.I started to play guitar when I was five years old. I am self taught and started on acoustic guitar, before spending many years playing metal. During this time I also wrote acoustic pop songs. Many years later I rediscovered my love for instrumental acoustic guitar and wanted to incorporate both the technical and musical elements of my playing, with particular focus on harmonics and my 'bell harmonics' technique that I had been developing throughout my playing life. I love composing music and striving for originality in everything I do. I love the acoustic guitar because it is not only challenging to play in a technical way but it offers a world of possibilities and rewards.
